Trending Medical Jobs During COVID-19

Everyone is aware of the sudden halt that this pandemic has brought worldwide.

People are suffering because of the after-effects of the Coronavirus outbreak. Businesses are shutting down, people are losing jobs, many people are dying because of a lack of medical attention.

According to Daniel Zhao, a Glassdoor senior economist, and data scientist, just a few months ago, there were several job listings for people who could help with coronavirus-related communications, medical assistance, or research testing. These positions were mainly looking to fulfill temporary or contract positions during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation also posted several positions for their newly formed COVID-19 Response team. The positions include program manager and associate strategy officer that will last until the end of December.

During this time, a lot of jobs are just coming up especially for people who can help. For example, crisis communication skills are becoming more and more useful in a wide variety of contexts, and jobs like a registered nurse to help with screenings in airports and at a quarantine location within a military base.
